ORGANISATION IDEAS FOR YOUR BATHROOM
Staying on top of bathroom organization can be challenging with the accumulation of products and the latest must-have tools. However, it can be simple by focusing on a few key principles: keeping only the essentials, utilizing overlooked spaces, and ensuring everything has its place.
Here, I'll share ideas on how to organize your bathroom, transforming it into the relaxing space it's meant to be.
1. SORT OUT CABINETS/ DRAWERS
These areas can become overwhelming with the variety of products we buy and want to test. Often, we don't use half of them or fail to realise they've expired. Start by sorting through your products to identify those that are expired, empty, or ones you know you won't use. Consider giving unused items to a friend. Additionally, certain items should not be stored in the bathroom due to high humidity levels. These include medications, jewelry, and perfume, which I suggest finding a new home for.
Once you’ve identified the items you’ll be keeping, start to consider storage options that best suit your bathroom to hold these products.
Storage options: Stackable Storage Drawers + Plastic Organiser Bins
2. AVOID CLUTTERING YOUR COUNTERTOP
Simplicity is key. Keeping the countertop clear is best, as less is more. However, if you must use the countertop due to limited space, consider using a simple bathroom tray to house your everyday products. Additionally, decant your products into matching bottles for a more aesthetic and organized look.
Options: Bathroom Tray + Glass Pump Bottles + Cosmetic Jar
3. INSTALL A TOWEL HOOKS
Hooks are a great way to neatly hang your robe or towel to dry after a shower. Placing them strategically can enhance the bathroom's appearance, and I personally prefer hooks over a bar. Hanging them behind the door is a great option to keep them discreet and out of sight.

4. GET A SHOWER CADDY
A shower caddy is an excellent way to organize all your in-shower products, preventing clutter on the shower floor. It also allows you to see all your products clearly, ensuring you don't forget to use any. As mentioned for the countertop, decanting products into matching containers can make everything look more organized and aesthetically pleasing.

5. INSTEAD GET A SHOWER STOOL TO HOLD PRODUCTS
A shower stool is another aesthetic option that reduces clutter and provides a convenient place to sit while washing or shaving your legs. It can also serve as a replacement for a shower caddy if you don't use many products, or you can use a combination of both for added functionality and organization.
Option: Shower Stool
6. ADD AREAS FOR STORAGE
In a minimal or smaller bathroom, storage options may be limited. This is where creativity comes into play. Consider incorporating different storage solutions like a cabinet or a trolley rack. Both are perfect for housing towels, toilet paper, and other bathroom essentials, helping you maximize space and keep your bathroom organized.
Storage options: Bathroom Cabinet + Bathroom Storage Trolley
7. INSTALL FLOATING SHELVES
Floating shelves are a great way to optimize space in the bathroom. They are easy to install and provide ample storage options, especially if you have plaster walls. Consider installing floating shelves in often-overlooked areas, such as above the toilet or above the door, to store items like toilet paper and towels.
Options: Floating Shelves
8. CLEAR JARS FOR COTTON PADS / BALLS
These are items we use frequently and can be tastefully displayed on the countertop or a window ledge in clear jars. This not only makes them easily accessible but also adds to the organized feel of the bathroom. Plus, when you notice the jars running low, it reminds you to add them to your shopping list.
Option: Cotton Pads Clear Jars + Aesthetic Labels
9. KEEP HAIR APPLIANCES IN COTTON BAGS
This is a great way to keep hair appliances separated and untangled. If they need to be on display, they will look much neater. You can also hang them on towel hooks for easier access if they are used frequently.
Options: Hair Dryer Bag + Hair Straightener Bag
10. CONSIDER A TOWEL LADDER
This is one of the simplest ways to create a place to hang your towels while adding a touch of aesthetic appeal. Installation is easy—just place the towel rack against the wall where you'd like it.
Option: Towel Ladder
11. BUY A BATHTUB TRAY
Bathtub trays are not only perfect for self-care but also serve as an extra shelf for soaps and other bathing tools. They are especially beneficial for freestanding tubs or those with limited ledge space. A bathtub tray provides a convenient place to arrange all your products, also encouraging you to take more baths and indulge in self-care.
Option: Bathtub Tray
There are numerous ways to organize your bathroom, and everyone's needs are different, so choose what works best for you. Remember, simplicity is key when it comes to organization. Declutter and repurpose items or products that are not needed in the bathroom, either to another part of your home or to someone else who can use them.
Hope this helped you out, until next time!
